Partners can build on their commitment to giving back to the Charlotte community by partnering with the #1 community service team in the league. The Checkers have donated more than $5.7 million to the Charlotte region since 2006. The organization has also earned the AHL’s Community Service Award four times during the team’s tenure in the league, won Charlotte Business Journal’s Community Impact Award in 2013 and saw its forward Kyle Hagel take home the 2015 AHL Man of the Year Award for his commitment to the city of Charlotte.
Along with entertaining over 2.6 million fans, the Checkers have established themselves as a premier franchise on and off the ice, earning the 2019-20 President’s Award for overall excellence as an organization and capturing the ultimate prize with the 2019 Calder Cup championship.

About The AHL
The American Hockey League (AHL) serves as the primary developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL). The AHL has grown into a 32-team, coast-to-coast league that provides fans with exciting, high-level professional hockey while preparing thousands of players, coaches, officials, executives, trainers, broadcasters and more for careers in the NHL. 87% of all NHL players were AHL graduates in the 2022-23 season.

Period Sponsorship
Title sponsorship for one period at all thirty-six (36) regular-season home games includes:
- Branding on video board
- Branding on LED boards for the entire period (except power plays and penalty kills)
- PA announcement at start of period

Game Night Sponsor
The presenting sponsor of a game night will receive:
- Branding on all advertisements of the event, including web releases, social media posts, promotional schedule, etc.
- Branding on the video board and LED boards during the game
- Participation in the ceremonial puck drop
- Concourse table activation
- Two (2) Zamboni rides in-game
- Opportunity to turn into a theme night
Jersey Auction
Special themed jersey with branding in conjunction with sponsored night
- The team will wear jerseys during the sponsored night, and they will be auctioned off afterward
- The sponsor can choose a beneficiary to receive a portion of the proceeds
- Includes web release and social media promotion before the game, as well as in-game recognition during the sponsored night
Mascot
Official sponsor of the Checkers mascot, Chubby
- The sponsored patch on Chubby's jersey will be seen during games and at community/special event appearances
- Branding on the video board and LED boards as Chubby is introduced at the start of every home game with a PA announcement
On Ice Game
Custom on-ice promotion during an intermission
- Winning contestant(s) can receive a prize pack courtesy of the sponsor

Exit Sampling
Opportunity to promote to fans as they exit the Coliseum
- Can be coupons, product samples, or giveaways

Trigger Challenge
An in-game promotion that is activated when a certain event/action takes place during the game
- Everyone in attendance has a chance to win if it happens
- Comes with logo placement on all LEDs, the large video board, and a PA announcement
- This element is a great traffic driver
- Can be a still or motion graphic
- Can be 5-Goal Challenge, Short-Handed Goal Challenge, First Goal of the Game Challenge, or custom to fit Sponsor's goal

Mutually agreed-upon community program with the Charlotte Checkers
- The Checkers would film a community event; the highlight video would play during games following the event
